Bio

Photographer and adventurer Lindsay Daniels was born in Los Angeles County, California, before moving with her family to live her formidable years in Salt Lake City, Utah. Third daughter of three girls and one brother, she grew up with an insatiable appetite for exploring different peoples, cultures and lands.

She attended the University of Utah, taking degrees in Sociology and International Studies, respectively, as well as acquiring a minor in Arabic. During her time at University she had the opportunity to travel through most of Central Europe, as well as the Middle East, spending the majority of her time in Amman, Jordan. After concluding her studies, she went on to explore various parts of Asia, including Vietnam and Cambodia. This drive to explore the world in which we live is what sparked Lindsay’s passion for photography. Since her time overseas, Lindsay purchased a DSLR and took to the open road, capturing the diverse beauty of the Western United States. Most recently, she headed north to photograph the vast landscape of Western Canada. However, no matter where her travels have taken her, or will continue to take her, she considers the High Alpine Rockies of Utah home.

Among her achievements, the University of Utah's Gallery showcased her photography from her time in the Middle East. Additionally, Lindsay has won numerous local awards, including the City of Holladay's Photo contest in 2010 (2nd place) and again in 2012 (1st place).  She has also been commissioned and published photography for clients such as City Creek Parking, Utah, and EDA Architects.
